(306) – Prohibition of Keeping a Dog except as a Watchdog or Hunting
Riyad as-Saliheen 1690
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Angels do not accompany the travellers who have with them a dog or a bell."
[Muslim].
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ : "لا تصحب الملائكة رفقة كلب أو جرس".
