The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite the following in the two rak'ahs of the Fajr prayer: "In the first rakah, recite from the verse, 'Say, "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael"' until the end of the verse [Al-Baqarah 136]. And in the second rakah, recite from the verse, 'Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you"' until the words 'And bear witness that we are Muslims' [Al-Imran 64]." – Sound Chain per Muslim

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا تَمِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَكْثَرُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ {قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ} [البقرة 136] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ وَفِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ {قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ} [آل عمران 64] إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ} [آل عمران 52] «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم – على شرط مسلم
