(8) – Less than one-third of the will

Yaʿlá > Ismāʿīl > ʿĀmir
"They used to impose taxes at a rate of one-fifth and one-fourth, and the one-third was the highest tax. Abu Muhammad said that by 'al-jamih' [the highest tax], it means a spirited horse." – Sound Chain
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ
«إِنَّمَا كَانُوا يُوصُونَ بِالْخُمُسِ وَالرُّبُعِ وَكَانَ الثُّلُثُ مُنْتَهَى الْجَامِحِ» قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد يَعْنِي بِالْجَامِحِ الْفَرَسَ الْجَمُوحَ – إسناده صحيح
