Muḥammad b. ʿĪsá > Yūsuf al-Mājishūn

Ibn Shihab said, "If Uthman and Zaid were to perish in some time, the knowledge of inheritance would also perish. Indeed, a time has come upon people and no one knows it except for these two." – Sound Chain

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْمَاجِشُونُ قَالَ قَالَ

ابْنُ شِهَابٍ «لَوْ هَلَكَ عُثْمَانُ وَزَيْدٌ فِي بَعْضِ الزَّمَانِ لَهَلَكَ عِلْمُ الْفَرَائِضِ لَقَدْ أَتَى عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ وَمَا يَعْلَمُهَا غَيْرُهُمَا» – إسناده صحيح
