(13) – بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا}
(13) – “Cut off the hand of the thief, male or female…”
Sahih al-Bukhari 6796
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
The Prophet cut off the hand of a thief for stealing a shield that was worth three Dirhams.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَطَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ.
