What Has Been Related About Cooling Fever with Water
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي تَبْرِيدِ الْحُمَّى بِالْمَاءِ

"Rafi' bin Khadij narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"Fever is from the agitation of the Fire, so cool it with water."

Aishah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Fever is from the heat of the Hell, so cool it with water."
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ " إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " .
