Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ashaj Abdul-Qais (May Allah be pleased with him), "You possess two qualities that Allah loves. These are clemency and tolerance."

وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ لأشج عبد القيس: “إن فيك خصلتين يحبهما الله: الحلم والأناة”. ((رواه مسلم)).
