Sunan an-Nasa'i al-Kubra 6297

Muḥammad b. Maʿmar al-Baḥrānī > Ḥabbān / Ibn Hilāl > Wuhayb / Ibn Khālid > Ibn Ṭāwus > Ṭāwus > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Give the Fara'id (the shares of the inheritance that are prescribed in the Qur'an) to those who are entitled to receive it. Then whatever remains, should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased ."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ لِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
