Sunan an-Nasa'i al-Kubra 3356

Abū Dāwud > ʿUthmān / Ibn ʿUmar > Yūnus > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

If I come to the house and there is a sick person in it, I do not ask for anything except while I am standing, and if the Prophet ﷺ entered upon me, I would get up and he would only come to the house if a person needed to perform ablution and was in retreat.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«إِنْ كُنْتُ لَآتِي الْبَيْتَ وَفِيهِ الْمَرِيضُ فَمَا أَسْأَلُ إِلَّا وَأَنَا قَائِمَةٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَكَانَ لَا يَأْتِي الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةِ الْإِنْسَانِ إِذَا أَرَادَ الْوُضُوءَ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ»
