ʿAmr b. Manṣūr > ʿAbdullāh b. Yūsuf > al-Layth > Ibn al-Hād > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Qāsim from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Prophet ﷺ died while he was between my chest and chin, so I never dislike the death agony for anyone after the Prophet.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِنَّهُ لَبَيْنَ حَاقِنَتِي وَذَاقِنَتِي فَلَا أَكْرَهُ شِدَّةَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَحَدٍ أَبَدًا بَعْدَمَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»
