(11) – الْأَمْرُ بِإِحْفَاءِ الشَّوَارِبِ وَإِعْفَاءِ اللِّحَى
(11) – The command to keep the mustaches and shave the beards.

ʿUbaydullāh b. Saʿīd > Yaḥyá > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: Trim closely the moustache, and let the beard grow.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى»
