التَّحْصِينُ مِنَ الْبَأْسِ

ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Ḍaʿīf > Sufyān > Yazīd b. Khuṣayfah > al-Sāʾib b. Yazīd

"That the Prophet ﷺ was prominent among the two shields on the day of Uhud."

أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الضَّعِيفُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «ظَاهِرٌ بَيْنَ دِرْعَيْنِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ»

Anas bin Malik said “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ entered Makkah in the year of the conquest (of Makkah) wearing a helmet on his head. When he took off it a man came to him and said “Ibn Akhtal is hanging with the curtains of the Ka’bah.” He said “Kill him”. Abu Dawud said “The name of Ibn Akhtal is ‘Abd Allaah and Abu Barzat Al Aslami killed him.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ» فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اقْتُلُوهُ»
