It was narrated that Jabir said:

"When the Messenger of Allah reached level ground at the bottom of the valley, he would hasten until he came out of it."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا تَصَوَّبَتْ قَدَمَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّى خَرَجَ مِنْهُ .
