This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Asim b. Kulaib with the same chain of transmitters that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: Say:" O Allah, I beg of Thee righteousness and adhering to the straight path."

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِدْرِيسَ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ،
بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
" قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى
وَالسَّدَادَ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ .
