A hadith has been narrated by Salim who learnt it from his father and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us an extra (camel) besides our share of Khums;
(and in this extra share) I got a Sharif (and a Sharif is a big old camel).

وَحَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لِسُرَيْجٍ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ، اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ نَفَّلَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَفَلاً سِوَى نَصِيبِنَا مِنَ الْخُمْسِ فَأَصَابَنِي شَارِفٌ وَالشَّارِفُ الْمُسِنُّ الْكَبِيرُ .
