(36) – Prohibition Of Cheating
Sunan Ibn Majah 2224
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was selling food. He put his hand in it and saw that there was something wrong with it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He is not one of us who cheats."'
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يَبِيِعُ طَعَامًا فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَإِذَا هُوَ مَغْشُوشٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ غَشَّ " .
