The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Avoid alcohol, as it is the key to every evil." This hadith has an authentic chain of narration, and it has not been excluded from the authentic collections. – Sound

أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا جَدِّي ثَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اجْتَنِبُوا الْخَمْرَ فَإِنَّهَا مِفْتَاحُ كُلِّ شَرٍّ» صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح – صحيح
