Abū Bakr b. Isḥāq > Abū al-Muthanná > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Khuzāʿī > Ḥammād b. Salamah > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥakam > Abū Ḥasan > ʿAmr b. Murrah > muʿāwiyah b. Abū Sufyān Innī

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever closes his door to those in need, to companionship, and to shelter, then Allah will close the door of the heavens to him, despite his need, poverty, and shelter." Sahih. – Sound

أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَنٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ إِنِّي

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَغْلَقَ بَابَهُ دُونَ ذَوِي الْحَاجَةِ وَالْخَلَّةِ وَالْمَسْكَنَةِ أَغْلَقَ اللَّهُ بَابَ السَّمَاءِ دُونَ خَلَّتِهِ وَحَاجَتِهِ وَفَقْرِهِ وَمَسْكَنَتِهِ» صحيح – صحيح
