Abū Bakr b. Isḥāq al-Faqīh > Muḥammad b. ʿĪsá b. al-Sakan al-Wāsiṭī > Dāwud b. ʿAmr al-Ḍabbī > Ṣāliḥ b. Mūsá al-Ṭalḥī > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Rufayʿ > Abū Ṣāliḥ > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, I have left among you two things that you will never go astray as long as you hold fast to them: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah. And they will never separate from each other until they meet me at the Pond."

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ السَّكَنِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُوسَى الطَّلْحِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ شَيْئَيْنِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدَهُمَا كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَسُنَّتِي وَلَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ
