A man bought a slave from another man during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . He possessed him and owned him freely. Then he returned him due to a defect that was found in him. The man said when the slave was returned to him, "O Messenger of Allah, he has been utilizing my slave since he acquired him." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The transaction is undertaken with guarantee." – Sound

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا اشْتَرَى مِنْ رَجُلٍ غُلَامًا فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ رَدَّهُ مِنْ عَيْبٍ وُجِدَ بِهِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ حِينَ رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْغُلَامُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ اسْتَغَلَّ غُلَامِي مُنْذُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «الْخَرَاجُ بِالضَّمَانِ» صحيح – صحيح
