The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man in the marketplace selling food at a price lower than the market price. He said, "You sell in our market at a price lower than ours?" The man replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah asked, "With patience and fairness?" The man replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah said, "Rejoice! For the one who brings goods to our market is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah, and the one who monopolizes in our market is like the one who denies the Book of Allah." This Hadith is considered weak in its narration and its chain of narrators is obscure. – Repudiated

مَا أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَدِّي حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَمِّهِ الْيَسَعَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ بِالسُّوقِ يَبِيعُ طَعَامًا بِسِعْرٍ هُوَ أَرْخَصُ مِنْ سِعْرِ السُّوقِ فَقَالَ «تَبِيعُ فِي سُوقِنَا بِسِعْرٍ هُوَ أَرْخَصُ مِنْ سِعْرِنَا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «صَبْرًا وَاحْتِسَابًا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ الْجَالِبَ إِلَى سُوقِنَا كَالْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُحْتَكِرُ فِي سُوقِنَا كَالْمُلْحِدِ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ» وَمِنْهَاخبر منكر وإسناد مظلم – ضعيف منكر
