Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Muḥammad b. Sinān al-Qazzāz > Abū ʿĀmir al-ʿAqadī > Zamʿah b. Ṣāliḥ > Salamah b. And Hrām > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "Seek help in fasting during the day with the Sahur (pre-dawn meal), and seek help in standing for prayer at night with the Qaylulah (midday nap)." Zam'ah ibn Salih and Salamah ibn Wahram are not unreliable narrators, as they can be referred to. However, the two Sheikh's did not exclude them and this is one of the hidden gems in this hadith in this regard.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَزَّازُ ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ثنا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَهْرَامٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اسْتَعِينُوا بِطَعَامِ السَّحَرِ عَلَى صِيَامِ النَّهَارِ وَبِقَيْلُولَةِ النَّهَارِ عَلَى قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ» زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ وَهْرَامٍ لَيْسَا بِالْمَتْرُوكَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِمَا لَكِنَّ الشَّيْخَيْنِ لَمْ يُخَرِّجَا عَنْهُمَا وَهَذَا مِنْ غُرَرِ الْحَدِيثِ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ
