Who recommended the will
بَابُ: مَنِ اسْتَحَبَّ الْوَصِيَّةَ

Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: It is the duty of a Muslim man who has something which is to be given as bequest not to have it for two nights without having his will written regarding it. – Sound Chain
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَبِيتُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ وَلَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصِي فِيهِ إِلَّا وَوَصِيَّتُهُ مَكْتُوبَةٌ عِنْدَهُ» – إسناده صحيح

«الْمُؤْمِنُ لَا يَأْكُلُ فِي كُلِّ بطنه وَلَا تَزَالُ وَصِيَّتُهُ تَحْتَ جَنْبِهِ» – إسناده صحيح
