Yaḥyá b. Ḥammād > Abū ʿAwānah > Abū Bishr > Bashīr b. Thābit > Ḥabīb b. Sālim > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr
"By Allah, I certainly inform people of the time of this prayer, meaning the Isha prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray it when the moon had set, around the third of the night." Yahya narrated to us from his book, from Bishr ibn Thabit." – Sound Chain
أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ
وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِوَقْتِ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ يَعْنِي صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّيهَا لِسُقُوطِ الْقَمَرِ لِثَالِثَةٍ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَمَلَّاهُ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ كِتَابِهِ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ – إسناده صحيح
