I was taking hold of the reins of the Messenger of Allah's camel during the middle days of Tashreeq. I was preventing people from approaching him, so he said, "Indeed, all interest gained during the pre-Islamic era is deemed void. Indeed, Allah has decreed that the first interest to be voided is the interest of Abbas ibn Abdul Muttalib. Your capital (original amount) remains your own, and you shall neither impose injustice nor suffer injustice." – Weak Chain
