In the Land of Fingers
بَابٌ فِي دِيَةِ الْأَصَابِعِ
Sunan ad-Darimi, Book of Blood Money(view book)
Abū al-Walīd > Shuʿbah > Ghālib al-Tammār > Masrūq b. Aws > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī
Regarding the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "Fingers are equal." I then asked, "Ten, ten?" He replied, "Yes." – Fair Chain
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ» قَالَ فَقُلْتُ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» – إسناده جيد

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «هَذَا وَهَذَا سَوَاءٌ» وَقَالَ «بِخِنْصِرِهِ وَإِبْهَامِهِ» – إسناده صحيح

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote to the people of Yemen: "And on every finger of the hand and foot, there are ten camels." – Weak Chain
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ «وَفِي كُلِّ إِصْبَعٍ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الْيَدِ وَالرِّجْلِ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ» – إسناده ضعيف
