Narrated Yazid:

I said to Salama, "For what did you give the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet on the Day of Hudaibiya?" He replied, "For death."

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ بَايَعْتُمُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ قَالَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ.
