(120) – باب لاَ يَطْرُقْ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلاً إِذَا أَطَالَ الْغَيْبَةَ مَخَافَةَ، أَنْ يُخَوِّنَهُمْ أَوْ يَلْتَمِسَ عَثَرَاتِهِمْ
(121) – If a man is away for a long time, he should not enter his house at night.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5244
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle ﷺ said, "When anyone of you is away from his house for a long time, he should not return to his family at night."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " إِذَا أَطَالَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْغَيْبَةَ فَلاَ يَطْرُقْ أَهْلَهُ لَيْلاً ".
