(67) – باب مَا يَقَعُ مِنَ النَّجَاسَاتِ فِي السَّمْنِ وَالْمَاءِ
(67) – An-Najasat (impure and filthy things) which fall in cooking butter (ghee - which is obtained by evaporating moisture from butter) and water

Narrated Maimuna:
The Prophet was asked regarding ghee in which a mouse had fallen. He said, "Take out the mouse and throw away the ghee around it (and use the rest.)"
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ سَقَطَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَقَالَ " خُذُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا فَاطْرَحُوهُ ". قَالَ مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ مَا لاَ أُحْصِيهِ يَقُولُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ.
