Sunan Abi Dawood 696

Sahl said:

The distance between the place where the Prophet ﷺ stood and the qiblah (i.e. the sutrah or the wall of the mosque) was as much as to allow a goat to pass.

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، وَالنُّفَيْلِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ مُقَامِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ مَمَرُّ عَنْزٍ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْخَبَرُ لِلنُّفَيْلِيِّ .
