Sunan Abu Dawood 3791

Anas b. Malik said:

I was an adolescent boy. I hunted a hare and roasted it. Abu Talib sent its hunch through me to the Prophet ﷺ, so I brought it to him and accepted it.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ غُلاَمًا حَزَوَّرًا فَصِدْتُ أَرْنَبًا فَشَوَيْتُهَا فَبَعَثَ مَعِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِعَجُزِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا فَقَبِلَهَا .
