Sunan Abu Dawood 1859

A man from the Ansar said on the authority of Ka'b ibn Ujrah that he was feeling pain in his head (due to lice); so he shaved his head. The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to sacrifice a cow as offering.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، - وَكَانَ قَدْ أَصَابَهُ فِي رَأْسِهِ أَذًى فَحَلَقَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُهْدِيَ هَدْيًا بَقَرَةً .
