The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Jabir through a different chain of narrators. This version has The Prophetﷺ said “Raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj and then perform Hajj, and do so all the pilgrims do, except that you should not circumambulate the Hose(the Ka’bah) and should not pray.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ بِبَعْضِ هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ " وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ " . " ثُمَّ حُجِّي وَاصْنَعِي مَا يَصْنَعُ الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَنْ لاَ تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ وَلاَ تُصَلِّي " .
