Narrated Anas bin Malik:

that two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ; he responded to one of them and did not respond to the other. The one who was not responded to said: "O Messenger of Allah! You responded to this person and did not respond to me?' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He praised Allah while you did not praise Him."

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ، عَطَسَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُشَمِّتِ الآخَرَ فَقَالَ الَّذِي لَمْ يُشَمِّتْهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ شَمَّتَّ هَذَا وَلَمْ تُشَمِّتْنِي . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " إِنَّهُ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تَحْمَدِ اللَّهَ " .

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ .
