ʿAmr b. ʿAlī > ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Sufyān > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Abū ʿAlqamah > Ibn ʿUmar
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Let the beard grow and trim the mustache.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَعْفُوا اللِّحَى وَأَحْفُوا الشَّارِبَ»
