Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Yaḥyá b. Ḥammād > al-Waḍḍāḥ > Yaḥyá > ʿAmr b. Maymūn

Ibn Abbas said, "The gates of the mosque were closed except for the gate of Ali, so he used to enter the mosque while he was in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) and there was no other way for him."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَضَّاحُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ

قَالَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَسُدَّ أَبْوَابُ الْمَسْجِدِ غَيْرَ بَابِ عَلِيٍّ فَكَانَ يَدْخُلُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ وَهُوَ طَرِيقُهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ طَرِيقٌ غَيْرَهُ
