ʿAlī b. Ḥujr > Ismāʿīl > Ḥumayd > Anas

The Prophet ﷺ said, "I entered Jannah (Paradise) and there, I saw a palace made of gold." I asked, "Whose palace is this?" They said, "It belongs to a young man from the Quraysh (tribe)." I thought it was me, so I asked, "And who is he?" They said, "It is Umar ibn al-Khattab." 8074 'Amr ibn 'Uthman told us, Muhammad ibn Harb narrated to me from al-Zubaydi from al-Zuhri.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقَصَرٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ» قُلْتُ لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ؟ قَالُوا لِشَابٍّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنِّي أَنَا هُوَ فَقُلْتُ «وَمَنْ هُوَ؟» قَالُوا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ 8074 أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ
