ʿUbaydullāh b. Saʿd from my uncle from my father > Ibn Isḥāq > al-Zuhrī > Ibn Abū Anas from his father > Abū Hurayrah

"When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are shut, and the devils are fettered."

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا دَخَلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فُتِّحَتْ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ وَغُلِّقَتْ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ وَسُلْسِلَتِ الشَّيَاطِينُ»
