ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ibrāhīm Duḥaym > Ibn Abū Fudayk > Yazīd b. Firās > Abān b. ʿUthmān from his father

On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever says in the morning, 'In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing,' nothing will harm him suddenly on that day. And whoever says it in the evening, nothing will harm him suddenly on that night."

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ دُحَيْمٌ عَنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ لَمْ يُصِبْهُ فِي يَوْمِهِ فَجْأَةُ بَلَاءٍ وَمَنْ قَالَهَا حِينَ يُمْسِي لَمْ يَعْنِي يُصِبْهُ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ فَجْأَةُ بَلَاءٍ
