On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "The angels of the night and the angels of the day gather at the time of Fajr prayer and Asr prayer. When the angels of the day ascend, Allah asks them, 'Where have you come from?' They reply, 'We have come from Your servants who were praying to You.' Then Allah asks, 'And what were they asking for?' They answer, 'They were asking for Your forgiveness and Your mercy.' Similarly, when the angels of the night ascend, Allah asks them the same questions and receives the same answers."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us not to rush the Imam in bowing, so when he says "Allahu Akbar", say "Allahu Akbar", and when he prostrates, prostrate. And when he says, "Not (the way) of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who have gone astray," say "Ameen" because when the words of the angels coincide with this, then the sins of those who are in the mosque are forgiven. And when he says, "Allah listens to the one who praises Him," say "Our Lord, to You is the praise."

Whoever takes bath due to sexual defilement on Friday and goes out (for Friday prayer), is treated like one who offers a camel as sacrifice; he who goes out in the second instance as one who offers a cow; he who goes out in the third instance is treated as one who offers horned cow ; he who goes out in the fourth instance is treated as one who offers hen ; he who goes out in the fifth instance is treated as one who offers an egg. Then the souls of the believers come to him and they rejoice more over him than any one of you rejoices when his absent loved one comes to him. They ask him: 'What happened to so-and-so, what happened to so-and-so?' They say: 'Let him be, for he was in the hardship of the world. When he says, 'Did he not come here?' They say: 'He was taken to the pit (of Hell).' Come out discontent, subject of Divine wrath, to the punishment of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime; So it comes out like the foulest stench of a corpse. They bring him to the gates of the Earth, where they say: 'How foul is this stench!' Then they bring him to the souls of the disbelievers."
