Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá b. Muḥammad > Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Shuʿayb > al-Ḥārith b. ʿUmayr > Ayyūb > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar > Raʾá
"It is as if he has a stolen treasure in his hand, which does not indicate anything from Paradise except that it flies towards him. So, I told it to Hafsa, and Hafsa told it to the Prophet ﷺ, he said, 'Indeed, Abdullah is a righteous man.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى
كَأَنَّ بِيَدِهِ سَرَقَةً مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ لَا يُشِيرُ بِهَا إِلَى شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا طَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ فَقَصَصْتُهَا عَلَى حَفْصَةَ فَقَصَّتْهَا حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ»
