Aban bin Sam'ah narrated that his mother said:

"I heard 'Aishah say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done, the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done, An-Namisah (the one who does the plucking) and Al-Mutanammisah (the one who has it done).'"

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْوَاشِمَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةِ وَالْوَاصِلَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةِ وَالنَّامِصَةِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةِ .
