It was narrated from Samurah that the Prophet ﷺ said:

"Wear white clothes for they are purer and better, and shroud your dead in them."'

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُفِّنَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ بِيضٍ .
