Salama said: I met Kuraib and he reported Ibn 'Abbas as saying: I was with my mother's sister Maimuna that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came there, and then he narrated the rest of the hadith as was narrated by Ghundar and said these words:" Make me light," beyond any doubt.

وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، . قَالَ سَلَمَةُ فَلَقِيتُ كُرَيْبًا فَقَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ غُنْدَرٍ . وَقَالَ " وَاجْعَلْنِي نُورًا " . وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ .
