Jabir b. Samura reported: The Apostle of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the noon prayer:" Glorify the name of thy Most High Lord in the morning prayer longer than this" (lxxxvii.)

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، . أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَفِي الصُّبْحِ بِأَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .
