Sahih Muslim 2971

'A'isha reported: Never could the family of Muhammad ﷺ (afford to eat) the bread of wheat for two days successively. Even (out of these two days) one (was such wherein he could get) only a date.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ يَوْمَيْنِ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ إِلاَّ وَأَحَدُهُمَا تَمْرٌ .
