Salim, on the authority of his father, reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said: Do not leave the fire burning in your houses when you go to sleep.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ،
بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
" لاَ تَتْرُكُوا
النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ حِينَ تَنَامُونَ " .
