(89) – باب مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ
(89) – The prohibition of wishing ill towards the people of Al-Madinah, and that the one who wishes them ill will be caused to melt by Allah
Sahih Muslim 1387b
Sa'd b. Malik heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying like this except (this variation) that he said:" Sudden attack or harm."
وَحَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ نُبَيْهٍ، الْكَعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَرَّاظِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ . بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " بِدَهْمٍ أَوْ بِسُوءٍ " .
