Muwatta Imam Malik Book of Purity, Hadith 4

Yahya said that he heard Malik say that there was no harm in washing the mouth and cleaning the nose with only one handful of water.

قَالَ يَحْيَى: سَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا: يَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَتَمَضْمَضُ وَيَسْتَنْثِرُ مِنْ غَرْفَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، إِنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ "
