(64) – باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْمُعْتَكِفِ يَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ وَيُرَجِّلُهُ
(64) – What was narrated concerning the person observing I`tikaf washing his head and combing his hair
Sunan Ibn Majah 1778
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bring his head towards me when he was next door (observing I’tikaf), and I would wash it and comb his hair, when I was in my apartment and I was menstruating, and he was in the mosque.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ مُجَاوِرٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَأَنَا فِي حُجْرَتِي وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ .
